Adam you are one month old! I cannot believe it! On Wednesday I took you to the doctor's office to weigh you out of curiosity. Just as a refresher you were 8lb 10oz on Nov 28, your two week appointment. You were in the 50 percentile. Yesterday, two weeks later you were 10lb 9oz the 75 percentile! Can you believe it? Two pounds in two weeks. Mommy is so proud of my littler chunkster and so glad I am feeding you right - straight cream!
On Monday we got a Christmas tree because Dad was now home. Mom always insists on getting a real tree - what can she say? She's an Oregon girl
While Dad was gone mom gave you a few baths -- you screamed most of the time. But she got better and the last bath was just a mild quiver. Well Dad gave you a bath last night and you thrived!! We removed the mesh insert from the tub because you are oh so big now and Dad even gave you some soapy bubbles. Needless to say you dirtied the tub - twice - but you were really loving it!
Great Aunt Ketti also sent you a package yesterday - new burb cloths! Dad thought they were supposed to be used for a fort :)
This week you are sleeping much better - 9:30pm to 7:00am with two 20 minute feedings at 1:00 am and 4:00 am. Mom can handle that! Also, Dad showed you black and white shapes and you were fixated!! You also love to look at the black and white photos above the couch when we hold you.
We cannot believe it has already been a month. You've kept your hair - still not sure if it's blonde or light brown or hint of red. Your fingernails grow so fast I cut them almost every other day. You're sleeping in your crib now, and still love love love being held.
