Cruise baby!

This weekend Derek and the boys in our future Austin office are in the Pacific Ocean. They left yesterday at lunch and drove to Las Vegas. Today they drove to Los Angeles and boarded the cruise ship. Although I admit I was very sad I didn't get to go (male-bonding time: no girls allowed) I'm excited to hear about their adventures!

New hairdresser!!

I have an announcement - after some coaxing I cut Derek's hair this weekend! Derek was a great sport - asking me very politely to cut his hair and being very patient. This was my first haircut and I have to admit it wasn't half bad. It was funny though that the haircuttee was the one encouraging the haircutter :) It's a little shorter but was great practice and a great price! Picture to come!

New phones!

Derek and I both got new phones this week. He is really excited because he got a data plan which means he can e-mail and edit documents on his phone. I'm just happy that I got a cute red phone. And we're both happy that we have unlimited texts and picture messages!

utah weekends

These past two weekends Derek and I have been in Provo. With that gas and the ride to Oregon it's made for a huge gas bill. However, this weekend we had lots of fun. I continued training for work this summer. We spent time with Aunt Linda, Uncle Shane and Courtney in Sandy while we watched General Conference. And we spent some time with my girls in Provo. It was Aly's birthday - it was all black and white! And I spent some time with Kayti too. Unfortunately Nicole and Jeff were out of town but I'll catch you next time. I have to go to Provo one more time for a little bit more training.

Now it's back to more school - which is really going great. And more snow - what's with that?!?!
