Adam and his daddy

I love taking pictures of these two. They love each other. What else can I say? :)

Adam is crawling out of his tub. It's getting close to having a normal bath from now on :)

AKPsi Retreat

On May 18th and 19th Derek, Adam and I went to Doug Sayer's cabin outside Shoupe, Idaho for the Derek's business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi's summer retreat. Derek served as a sort of advisor while the group planned their next year's activity. Derek's boss allowed us to stay in his cabin and it was gorgeous!! You can see the views. It was so peaceful we just sat on the deck and listened to the river and fell asleep :)

Look at this gorgeous view!

We went on a walk and Derek was attacked by a butterfly - it's yellow and right behind his mid back.

The whole group of AKPsi in attendance

Adam did so well. He was the charmer as usual. And he's sleeping really well now- all through the night. Derek loves tossing him in the air

And our little sitter :)

Six Months

5.5.12

In May we went to Derek's brother's graduation from Utah State in Logan, UT. It was fun to see the whole family.

Adam has discovered his toes - love it! He is also sitting up. We cannot stop taking pictures of him. This night we had a whole host of pictures of his little naked bum :)

5.14.12

"Hey Dad, I'm six months old and going to play tennis like you too. I'm wearing your tennis hat and look so so cool" :)

5.14.12

hahaha
Adam laughs all the time and is rolling over lots and sitting up.

Five Months

Ok so I am so so behind (like 3 months!) but I'm ready to get to it and catch up. Ok ready go...

3.30.12

This is Adam and my cousin Corbett's third son Tanner. Tanner is just about a week older than Adam but Adam's got the chunk on him :) The reason we are together at my parent's house is my Papa died on March 25, 2012 one week before his 83rd birthday. Corbett and his wife Chrissy live in California and came to Salem for the funeral as did we. We stayed for two days and then back home. It was a whirlwind trip but I was grateful to see so much family. Luckily Adam and Papa met in February when Adam and I came out for Lincoln's play. The only pictures I got were of the Tanner and Adam but boy were they fascinated with each other :)

4.5.12

Because I am so behind Adam looks so different now. Here's a picture of him with his now signature poofy hair :) Once it started growing it cannot be tamed! I love it!!

4.5.12

At the beginning of April Adam was beginning to discover his toes. He is balancing the ball with his hands and toes in this picture :)

4.6.12

Adam's first meal of rice cereal :)

He caught onto how to open for the spoon very quickly - granted he pushed the food back out of his mouth but he got the hang of it eventually :)

 4.6.12

So messy!!

 4.6.12

So clean after my bath!!

 Easter 2012
4.8.12

We spent Easter in Logan, UT this year. Jarrad and Kandice just had their second baby - a boy named Jacob who is 4 months younger than Adam. I'm so excited he'll have a cousin so close in age!!

 4.8.12

The two boys just chillin'

 4.8.12

Jacob, Lindzey and Adam - The three Moss grandchildren

4.13.12

More food! This time it was bananas! He was so sure at first...

 4.13.12

Throw back the head and cackle. I think he likes it.

 4.13.12

Then the classic spit noise that he just learned - so convenient when you're trying to put food in his mouth haha

4.13.12

Wrinkly toes after the bath!

4.13.12

Adam is getting so good at turning the flower here on his bouncer. I love watching him improve his dexterity :)

Five months was lots of fun!!

4.05.2012

love my little man

Photo shoot I did with my little man on Sunday morning - he loves his hands!!

Dad put Adam's hair in a mohawk - haha

We got Adam some sunglasses because every time he's outside or in the car and the sun hits him he sneezes non stop! We think he likes them :)

St Patty's Day

Growing up we always had a green dinner on St. Patrick's Day. I have tried to keep that tradition up. This year Daralyn and Steve came to visit for the day. So fun! Also Derek and I were able to visit the temple for the first time together since Adam was born!

Here is the green menu:
Pesto Chicken Ravioli with green peppers and zucchini
Grapes, Celery and Salad
Cream Soda
Green Licorice and Andes mints treats
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream for dessert

Four Months

Adam turned four months on March 14th - a few weeks behind but that's ok.

He weighed 15 lb 13 oz at his appointment. He is 50th % for weight, height, and head - perfect! He rolls over from his back to his tummy only over his left shoulder. He has forgotten how to roll from his tummy to his back (which he learned first). He is consistently sleeping through the night from 9:00pm to 7:30am and he's been doing that since 3 1/2 months! He takes 3-4 naps a day and is still a quick eater. He loves to suck his fingers and is started to grasp and reach for toys. He loves listening to books and talking to us.

He loves to fly in the air with Dad!

This "Happy" shirt describes Adam. He is the happiest sweetest baby. We are so lucky!

Adam gives us big smiles whenever we ask for them by smiling at him. He loves his bouncer seat. Except recently he has been doing crunches in his seat and his head touches his toes. I now have to buckle him up in there so he doesn't fall!

Adam is very talkative especially on his tummy or Dad's chest. He pushes himself up onto his own check and props his arms underneath

Shots in his legs :( I gave him tylenol before his appointment but kind of forgot after. So he woke up from his evening nap MAD!!! But after an hour he was back to his cuddly self. Mom will remember to give tylenol after the appointment at his 6 month apt!

Still loves loves the bath!!

Sixteen Weeks

I love his little outfit here :) His shoes are too big but we had to try them on :)

And I got a video of him rolling over. This is on my phone. I have other videos of him talking and rolling on my video camera but I can't find the cord to connect to the computer - ergh.

And other big news!!! Adam is sleeping from 9:00-7:30 am!! LOVE IT! So proud of him :)
