Last week Derek and I bought a new car! We got a 2008 Honda Civic EX with 19,000 miles. On the way home from Utah it got 41mpg! We were looking for something with good gas milage for Derek's commute and my Mercury Sable was showing signs of dying for a while now. So now I'm using the Mercury Milan and Derek has a gas sipper. He found it on a Friday afternoon online and we left for Utah at 3:00pm on a Friday and got home around midnight. Late and crazy night but good deal!
As far as updates go Derek and I are just working and going to school as usual. My biggest update is that I have my National Board Exam on March 22. Two weeks!! I am nervous but feel pretty prepared. After that, hopefully my stress level will go down. At least I won't always be feeling guilty when I'm not studying.
I've seen or am seeing about 18 patients so far this semester. I'm feeling much more confident about my clinical skills. I know I have a lot of practice to do before I become an expert but I am excited to get out into private practice and be on my own!
Derek is doing great at work as usual :) He also started another season of tennis. He is on an 8.0 mixed doubles team and really likes it. I got a tennis skirt for Valentines day and we play tennis sometimes on the weeknights.
