we love the coast

 Derek and I love the coast! This is our very favorite restaurant - Local Ocean in Newport, Oregon. We should have taken a picture of our food but we ate it too fast! It is fresh seafood (really fresh - we're sitting by the dock) with a spicy side. We went here for our honeymoon and always have to stop when we come back. If you ever go you have to try their dessert - a lemon shortcake with whipped cream and fresh mangos, blueberries and strawberries....yum!

 Derek loves the docks - all the boats and the Newport bridge. We enjoyed three days at the coast and two nights. We visited lots of towns and just strolled through them with no agenda. It was so fun.

 We went to the Sea Lion caves near Florence. I had never been there! But Derek had been as a kid and had fun memories seeing all the crazy sea lions.

 This is Adam's first trip to the coast! Derek and I camped (yeah that's right, I'm an amazing pregnant woman! Thank goodness for cots!). Our campsite was right by the coast. We made our camp meals at our tent site and then walked around the corner to this beautiful view. Aren't our chairs cute? :) It's almost like they're holding hands.

 This is Depoe Bay - the smalled bay in the world. Derek loves this spot too!

 I am so pregnant :)

Overall it was a great trip and a great vacation just Derek and I
