derek's growing up and up

Derek's birthday was Wednesday and he turned 28 :) We had a low key day but it was great. He came home early and we saw Transformers 3 in 3D (did you know that from 4:00 to 5:30 the movies are only $5 instead of the $7 matinee and $9.50 evening shows?). Then I made a yummy dinner and yummier cupcakes with rolos inside - so good!!! Derek got a tennis bag and other fun stuff and we just enjoyed the day together.

Derek has done so well at work this year and I am so happy to call him my husband. He is going to be such a wonderful daddy!
